While cruising the web a couple of months ago, I happened on a great-looking planned community located a few miles outside Albuquerque, New Mexico. With your interest in mind, we diverted our return trip to include a visit to this fascinating location,a gated community for those interested in building a luxury dream home.
We traveled East on I-40 about ten miles past the Tramway road exit. The exit to take is at mile 178. There is a map on the Nature Pointe website directing you to the beginnings of this great community.  I discovered from the information provided on their website that the community is still very much in the planning stages and very early construction. I believe this is a perfect time for a person to acquire prime property in an exclusive community. At present, we found, about 40% of the property has been purchased or is pending sale. This leaves quite a few lovely, two-acre lots still up for grabs. Nature Pointe is not for the budget-minded, but caters more toward the sophisticated homeowner that desires peaceful living in their luxury dream home with all the amenities of a planned community.
 Two-acre lots range from $169,000 to $265,000 depending on which lot is chosen. The setting is forested with Pinon pines and Rocky Mountain Juniper, and the views of surrounding mountain peaks are superb! No back-to-back rows of houses here, you will certainly have space between you and your neighbors. The amenities are too numerous to list here, but the clubhouse is undergoing construction presently with the groundbreaking having just been completed around July 15. We visited briefly with the developer, and were given permission to ride through the not-yet-paved streets. We promised not to deviate from the roadways as the trenching for utilities is presently being conducted. We got a quick look at the initial spec home being constructed by âHomes by Marieâ builders. Located near the entrance to the community, this home will be breathtaking in its design and construction. I had previously visited Marieâs website and had been quite impressed with the photos of her work. This is probably the reason this company was chosen to build the initial homes in this highly desirable community. Visit her website to see if Iâm right, or if Iâm right.
